Plastic Creatures – Nancy will show you how
to make creatures out of plastic waste. But we can use plastic waste to our advantage by making ourselves beautiful artwork to keep and enjoy. When you have made the animal in the video… why not try other creatures?
Materials: Bee: Plastic bags & wrapping black, transparent & white, yellow wool or string, wire, googly eyes, a stick, pipe cleaners.
Dragon fly: Lolly sticks, pipe cleaners, wool, pipe cleaners, sequin mesh from craft store or similar, crisp packets/ bubble wrap. Cat: cellophane plastic wrapping, cardboard tube, newspaper, masking taps, watered down 1/2 and 1/2 PVA glue, clay/stones something heavy to weight the cat down, paint & brushes, wire, pipe cleaners.
